Michael Marzano—Editor-in-Chief, Michiganensian Yearbook 2008
I have to say that 2008 has been a great year so far! The Michiganensian has once again published an incredible issue, to be released in April. I am very proud of my staff for dedicating the long hours and hard work necessary for making the book. It is because of them that this book has been such a joy and pleasure to work on for the past year.
At this point, the staff has completed all of the pages for the book, and we are currently working on the last set of proofs to ensure that everything is correct.
We have elected a new Editor-in-Chief for the 2009 Michiganensian. His name is Eric Crabb and he is more than qualified for the position. He will lead the Ensian well, and I am very happy that he will be taking over. Our Business Manager, Chris Kokoczka, will remain in his position and will implement some new marketing techniques in order to make the Ensian successful for years to come.
The Ensian staff will be making their annual trip to the Jostens Plant at the end of March in order to see how the book is assembled. It will also give the new Editor-in-Chief a chance to meet the people behind the scenes of producing such a great book.
Again, it has been a pleasure to lead a group of such driven individuals and I, as I am sure all of you, cannot wait to see what the ideas are for next year’s book!
